CABI, Nosworthy Way, Wallingford, Oxfordshire, OX10 8DE, United Kingdom

BSc in Ecology; MSc in Ecology; PhD in Biology

Before joining CABI I did ecological and taxonomic research on tropical parasitoid wasps. While officially based at the University of Turku, Finland, I also spent a good amount of time working in different natural history museums in the UK and USA. As I wanted to make a career shift from research to scientific publishing, I started volunteering for Biodiversity Data Journal (Pensoft Publishers) and working for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the winter of 2014-15, and finally joined CABI in August 2015 as a content editor. Here at CABI I am responsible for the content and production of online resources in plant sciences, selecting material for inclusion in CAB Abstracts, and writing news items and blog posts.
